Ingredients
- • 1 lb roast (top round or sirloin tip are the best)
- • 16oz au jus (I use Johnny's French Dip Sauce but you can substitute your own)
- • to taste salt and pepper
Process
- 1. pour 4 cups of water and 16oz of au jus into big pot
- 2. brown 1lb of roast in a skillet
- 3. chop up roast to desired pieces size
- 4. season pot of water and au jus to desired taste
- 5. add roast and noodles to soup
- 6. let simmer on medium heat for approximately 2 hours
