- 1 Challah Loaf
- Vanilla Extract
- Cinnamon
- 2 Eggs
- ¼ Milk
- ¼ - ½ stick of Butter
- Slice up the challah loaf. Nice thick slices
- Mix the eggs and milk in a shallow bowl
- Mix in a dash of vanilla
- Mix in a dash of cinnamon
- Melt the butter in a frying pan
- Soak your challah slices in the egg and milk mixture, turning to ensure full coverage. Avoid sogginess, do not over-soak.
- Put soaked challah slices into frying pan
- Fry to nice golden-brown
Mom taught me this one as well; most of it did not appear to be measured, so experiment!
