Fostering… children

I have never been interested in bearing children.  There are so many children already out there that need help, homes, love, and families.  Bringing more children in just seems so unnecessary.  I also lack any of the drive to have children of my own genes.

I am looking at the 8-18 age range.  I find this age group endearing, and I believe that I can make the most impact and help the most at that age range.  My long-term goal is to help troubled teens, but I’ll need some experience first; and they can’t be troubled in the “torture and mutilation of animals” way.  I was very careful to specify that these children absolutely must be animal friendly.

I don’t know if I’m a good candidate for a foster home.  I have absolutely no experience with children - just a desire to help kids and to make a positive impact in the life of young adults.  I want to give back and “do more”, and I feel this is an area where I could really help, and that ultimately, I could provide a stable, nourishing environment to these little people in a way that know I would feel deeply gratifying.

More coming.  Now may or may not be the time, but I can’t know until I start the process.  it’s time to forge forward and find out more.
