I have decided to make yet another dietary change, and that is to go ketogenic. This is an ultra low-carb diet. What happens is when you eat few enough carbs (under 30) your body produces ketones. These burn fat. Here’s a good site about it. I’m also on the keto reddit.
I got ketostix in order to confirm that what I’m doing is working, and intend to continue doing this until I’m at my goal weight. So that’s for awhile, but at the end of I’ll be able to eat some fruit (carefully) and be a little bit more liberal.
This is something that I am doing in combination with being on the paleo diet - which actually makes it pretty darn easy so long as I watch my fruit intake.
Had a day of rest today from CrossFit, looking forward to tomorrow!
I also went to Best Buy today and bought a second garage freezer as my first one is out of space. Then I went to the fish store and bought 15 more fish for my tank, woot! They’re acclimating now. I also got a portion of live brine shrimp as a treat for the tank.
The rest of today is cooking, cleaning, and rest. I may play some Kinect too, but we’ll see. I really do need a day of rest here. I’m looking forward to work tomorrow since it’s a planning day. Quite a few meetings, but I expect those to be really awesome meetings actually. Tomorrow is going to be an awesome Monday. Yes indeed.
