On getting keyed

Rear of Forester Back door Front door Full image

I mentioned a few weeks ago that while dad and I were in Portland, dining at Morton’s, my Forester got keyed.  This was one of the few times we did not use valet parking as we found an excellent spot.  Here are the pics of the damage - it spans the entire passenger side and looks like someone’s personal signature.

I moved very quickly on this and State Farm - my insurer - has been excellent to work with.  Today I dropped my Forester off and picked up a rental car.  A little sedan, some Chevy.  At least it has power windows.  The other cars didn’t.

The rental through Enterprise is covered by State Farm.  Enterprise was able to work with me on my need to put dogs in the car (need to cover the seats) which is not normally permitted.  But on Thursday the dogs have to go to boarding since I’m going up to Seattle, so it was vital I be able to get them to Many Paws.

Speaking of which - I had several excellent things happen at work today.  I can’t go into details, but it was one Amazing Monday!

Milton is also Giardia-free.  Mali is doing great.  My car will soon be fixed, my dogs are wonderful, and my work is .... there are no words.  Thursday and Friday should be a great end to this week and I’m really looking forward to Thursday and seeing everyone.

Life rocks!
